Eagles Get 14th Pick After Coin Flip

By Kevin Durso, Sports Talk Philly editor

We now officially know where the Eagles will be picking in the 2017 NFL Draft, to be held in Philadelphia on April 27-29.

After a coin flip to determine picks 14 and 15 in the draft, the Eagles will select 14th overall in the NFL Draft.

The coin flip favored the Minnesota Vikings, and since the Eagles acquired the Vikings pick in the Sam Bradford trade, they will hold the selection.

The Eagles have used first-round picks in previous seasons on Carson Wentz (2nd overall), Nelson Agholor (20th), Marcus Smith (26th), Lane Johnson (4th) and Fletcher Cox (12th).

Recent picks at the 14th/15th overall pick include S Karl Joseph (Oakland) in 2016, WR DeVante Parker (Miami) in 2015, CB Kyle Fuller (Chicago) in 2014, DT Star Lotuleilei (Carolina) in 2013 and DT Michael Brockers (St. Louis) in 2012.
