The Flyers may have done a lot of the right things in their most recent game on Sunday against Columbus — after all, the monkey of a five-game losing streak was off their backs — but those right things still weren't enough in a 2-1 overtime loss. They close out their brief two-game road jaunt with a matchup in Western New York, against a hard-luck Buffalo Sabres team.
Sitting in seventh in the Atlantic Division with a 15-15-9 record, the Sabres are just 3-4-3 in their last 10 games. Most recently, though, they took the Winnipeg Jets down, 4-3, after firing three unanswered goals in the third period.
Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.
