It seemed like the Flyers were on a roll to end the 2016 portion of their schedule, as they amassed their longest winning streak since 1985. Whatever momentum that stretch garnered is almost certainly lost, though, as the Orange and Black ended with losses in five of their last six games — a stretch that features two shutouts and just three goals over the last three games.

The Flyers look to end their funk and start 2017 off on the right foot, as they visit the Anaheim Ducks to close out a four-game road trip. The Ducks are in a bit of a funk of their own, having dropped six of their last nine.

Puck drop is set for 8 p.m.

Travis Konecny was scratched from the lineup against the Sharks, but look for him to return with gusto. He set up two goals in the Flyers' loss against St. Louis last Wednesday.

In his third full season with the Ducks, Rickard Rakell is steadily enjoying a breakout season. After netting 20 goals in his sophomore campaign last season (a feat, the 23-year-old Swede already has 16 in

Steve Mason's status against the Ducks is still unknown at this juncture, though he did practice on Saturday after suffering a hand injury against the Sharks. Look for Anthony Stolarz to make his third start just in case. Stolarz was sharp in relief on Saturday, stopping 21 of 22 pucks, but was still saddled with the loss because of a lack of goal support.

Expect John Gibson to start between the pipes for the Ducks., for his third start in five days. He stopped 23 of 26 shots in his last outing, against Vancouver on Friday.
