Welcome to the city of Deledelphia, where we talk about the Delaware 87ers and the Philadelphia 76ers! If you survived last week's terrible puns, good for you, warrior. Thank you for not shooting my laptop. We have some interesting news for you so…uh, Deladelphia doesn't have any hotels at the moment, but you can crash on the couch. Grab a snack, sit down, and enjoy your stay.
Today, we'll talk about awesome women, returning faces, water bottles, and more!
Nerlens Noel is almost here
According to coach Brett Brown, Nerlens Noel could be making his season debut this Sunday. IT'S ALL TALK; WE DON'T HAVE OFFICIAL WORD. Thing is, he's probably going to be a game time decision. I'd love to see him in action again. I still like him, darn it!
But Elton Brand is here
The Sixers and Elton Brand can't seem to stay out of each other's arms. So cute! The Sixers had talked Brand out of retirement to be a role model of sorts for the Sixers. But then Brand got playing time and actually looked alright out there. It was just weird. The Sixers signed him again this past offseason (they pulled him into an embrace), but Brand was like, "No, this is wrong" (he pulled away, turning his eyes to avoid the pain in the Sixers' eyes)and the Sixers were like, "I don't wanna be right." So, the Sixers were serious about him being part of the organization so they brought him back, but as part of the player development staff. I liked him as a player when he first played for the team but Lord almighty that contract became a problem in year two.
A woman in business
The Sevens' Business Development Manager, Chanelle Reynolds, was recognized as a woman in business via Delaware Today.

Hollis kills the water bottle challenge
Yeah, fine, I'm bias as I have declared Hollis Thompson a favorite player of mine since year one. But, c'mon now. This is excellent:

Yeah. YEAH. YUUUP.
A true 76er: Tom McGinnis
Tom McGinnis has been calling Sixers games for a while now. How long? Well, he recently called his 1,776th game. As you know, the Sixers are named after that year, so that's a big deal.

The Hawks and Wizards stop by
The Wizards sent down Sheldon McClellan to the Sevens. The Hawks sent down Mike Scott and eventually recalled him.
The streak is finally over
No, not my streak of awesome content. No, the Sixers' road game losing streak is finally over as they beat the Pelicans, who are having problems of their own. After 23 games, the Sixers finally silenced a crowd. Good for them. A lot of losing streaks have ended this season so that's an overall positive thing for this team as they look to destroy the league in the next couple of years. No survivors. Sixers.
