Even with Ben Simmons on the mend, the Philadelphia 76ers have two of the NBA's top rookies in Joel Embiid and Dario Saric. In this week's NBA.com rookie ladder, the two Sixers rookies are ranked 1st and 2nd in the class. While Embiid has been at the top for the majority of the young season, Saric has been floating around the top 10.

Joel Embiid leads the rookie class in scoring (18ppg), rebounds (7.3rpg) and blocks (2.29) while his 16 blocked shots rank third best in the entire NBA. Although turnovers and fouls still cause some issues for the 7-foot-2 center, his strong play following two years of injury recovery makes those missteps easier to swallow. Embiid will sit when the Sixers host Washington on Wednesday, but returns when they travel to Minnesota on Thursday for a match-up against Karl-Anthony Towns and the Timberwolves on TNT.

Meanwhile, Saric was ranked fifth in last week's NBA rookie ladder, but is up to second after tallying his first double double of the season against the Pacers and consistently finding ways to contribute, even if he isn't shooting well. His 38.8 percent shooting percentage isn't anything that'll turn heads, but during eight games in the month of November, Saric is shooting 57.9 percent from beyond the arc. He ranks first in minutes, second in scoring, second in rebounding and third in three-point field-goal percentage among the rookie class.

Malcolm Brogdon (Bucks), Malcolm Delaney (Hawks) and Willy Hernangomez (Knicks) round out the top five. Second overall pick Brandon Ingram comes in at the sixth position while Jaylen Brown and Kris Dunn rank seventh and eighth, respectively.
