It’s a wonderful feat for an undrafted rookie to make it to the NHL. It would be icing on the cake if he were to record a point and get on the scoresheet in his first NHL game. Being called up from Springfield of the AHL, Al Hill was about to make is NHL debut and also Flyers history.
Rivalies run deep, as usually goes with divisional foes in all sports. The New York Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers rivalry is as old as time, but their AHL teams proved it’s still alive and well on Saturday night, as the Phantoms beat the Wolf Pack, 6-4, in a testy, back-and-forth affair.
