Fresh off the heels of their 4-3 overtime thriller on Wednesday against Detroit, the Flyers head up the New Jersey Turnpike and into Brooklyn for their first matchup against the New York Islanders this season.
Jakub Voracek found a way to put the Flyers over the hump, netting the overtime winner at 1:41 of the extra period.
One thing the Flyers haven’t done this season is win consecutive games, and the opportunity is quite present against a Red Wings club that has lost their last two games and has scored just four goals over their past three matchups.
