While the numbers haven’t changed much yet, the Flyers are slowly showing signs of improvement in both special teams departments as the season’s first month comes to a close.
The Flyers allowed three goals in the third period in a 5-4 loss to the Coyotes, allowed the first goal for the seventh straight game and really never recovered from yet another slow start. Slow starts and poor defensive play are starting to do the Flyers in, and the schedule only gets harder from here.
