The Washington Wizards are off to an 0-1 start to the season, while the 76ers started their season off with a win over the Miami Heat on Wednesday night. The 76ers are a tanking team, but they pulled off a win against the Miami Heat, and that was pretty insane. That win was pure luck though, and I don't think too much of it. The Wizards are a middle of the pack Eastern Conference team. They're very average. I think this will be a pretty good game tonight.

Key Matchup: Michael Carter-Williams and John Wall: Michael Carter-Williams played his first NBA game on Wednesday. He had 22 points, 12 assists, 9 steals, 7 rebounds, and just 1 turnover. That is amazing, by far the best NBA debut I have ever witnessed. I think it's safe to say that he won't keep this pace up all season, but it was definitely a good sign for 76ers fans. John Wall is an established NBA player out of Kentucky. In the Wizards' season opener on Wednesday, he scored 20 points and had 11 assists. That's very good. Him and Michael Carter-Williams are both tall, very good at passing, and good players in general. That is why I have them as my key matchup tonight.

Projected Starting Lineup:

76ers

PG, Michael Carter-Williams

SG, James Anderson

PF, Thaddeus Young

C, Spencer Hawes

Wizards

Game Prediction: Wizards 98, 76ers 94: This 76ers team is not very good, and I see a lot of talent out of the Wizards. That's why I think the Wizards will win. However, the Washington Wizards are in no way too dominant, and that's why I think this will be a tightly contested matchup between these two young teams.

This game is at 7:00 PM EST tonight, and will be seen on the Comcast Network.
