The Philadelphia 76ers announced their signing of Isaiah Miles, a former standout at St. Joseph's University, on Thursday afternoon.
The contract, according to multiple reports, is of the Exhibit 10 variety.
Sixers announced they have signed Isaiah Miles, who will be on an Exhibit 10 deal, I'm told. Expectation is that his focus will predominantly be G-League.

By signing Miles to an Exhibit 10 contract, the 76ers have given themselves the flexibility to stash him in the G-League while also potentially converting his contract to a two-way deal. The team already used an Exhibit 10 contract to sign rookie big man Christ Koumadje earlier this offseason.
Miles was a local standout at St. Joseph's, eventually earning a big role on the team during his junior and senior seasons. He averaged 18.1 points per game during his final season with the Hawks, earning himself an invite to the NBA Draft Combine. However, he wound up going undrafted and has spent the previous three years playing for various leagues in Europe.
Miles' most likely role will be as a training camp body and a player who will play a role on the Delaware Blue Coats, the Sixers' G-League affiliate.
The 76ers now have 19 of a possible 20 players under contract heading into training camp. They have 15 players on their regular roster, two players on two-way contracts (Norvel Pelle and Marial Shayok) and now two players on Exhibit 10 contracts.
