After a stellar debut against the Cardinals last week, Adam Morgan gets a crack at the Nationals.

It's been a nice week for Washington pitcher Gio Gonzalez. His last start, he kept the Pirates off the boards for seven shut out frames , picking up his first win in nearly a month. Then on Tuesday, Wahl Home Products announced that they had sponsored Gonzalez's beard. It's high times for the former Phillies prospect who has a 7-5 record against his former organization and a 3.02 ERA.
Morgan, as mentioned, is looking to build off his major league debut last week against St. Louis where he allowed one run, two walks and struck out six over 5.2 innings.
Domonic Brown and Ryan Howard both rest against tough lefty Gonzalez this afternoon.
