The Pro Bowl was held in Orlando on Sunday night with the AFC edging the NFC by a score of 20-13.
In game heavily dominated by field goals, two second-quarter touchdowns by the AFC helped provide the margin of victory.
Alex Smith connected with Delanie Walker for a 26-yard touchdown to open the scoring early in the second quarter. The NFC answered with a 47-yard touchdown pass from Drew Brees to Doug Baldwin.
With 1:40 to play in the half, the AFC tallied again with Travis Kelce reeling in a 23-yard touchdown pass from Andy Dalton to make it a seven-point lead for the AFC at halftime.
Justin Tucker extended the AFC lead with a 38-yard field goal midway through the third quarter, the only score of the quarter.
Tucker added a second field goal from 31 yards early in the fourth, extending the AFC lead to 13. Matt Prater added field goals from 42 yards and 46 yards to cut the lead down to seven with 4:29 to play, but the NFC could not overcome the deficit.
The Eagles had four representatives in the game. Darren Sproles had four catches for 28 yards. Fletcher Cox had three tackles. Offensive linemen Jason Peters and Jason Kelce also participated in the game.
Travis Kelce, who had three catches for 36 yards and a touchdown, was named Offensive MVP while Lorenzo Alexander, who had eight tackles, two passes defended and an interception, was named Defensive MVP.
