After Bullpen Session, Roy Halladay Looks “Wonderful”, Phillies Pitching Coach Says

After massive panic about Roy Halladay earlier this week, he may be just fine.  According to Todd Zolecki of MLB.com, Halladay's bullpen session today went just fine.  Phillies pitching coach Rich Dubee spoke after the game  to Zolecki, and he reiterated that Halladay is physically okay.

“He looked wonderful,” Rich Dubee said. “He looked fine.”

Halladay struggled mightily in 2 2/3 innings Tuesday. He said he was lethargic because of a more intense workout routine and throwing two bullpen sessions before that start. Both Halladay and Dubee have said there are no health issues.

This is not a change from Dubee's previous comments.  Dubee was not worried a day after Halladay's rocky start:

I think I knew he was fine physically yesterday. He came out saying he’s fine. He said on the mound he’s fine. He feels good today. He feels like he didn’t even pitch physically. That’s good.

I am not sure where people got the idea that Phillies manager Charlie Manuel or Dubee were concerned, but it appears to be unfounded.   Halladay faces the Orioles on Sunday in Clearwater.
