It's a battle of matching ERA's tonight as Kyle Kendrick and Ervin Santana bring their 4.09 to the mound at Turner Field to follow up a long extra inning game last night that found the Phillies delivering some clutch hits to start a tough series against the first place Braves.
Kendrick is following up a nice outing vs. San Diego last week where he held the Padres to two runs (one earned) through six solid frames for his second win of the season. Chase Utley gets the night off with Cesar Hernandez filling in at second. Ben Revere is also not in the line up in favor of John Mayberry.
Standard Braves line up save for Evan Gattis who rests tonight. Gerald Laird is handling Santana tonight.
