With Claude Giroux and Jake Voracek on opposing sides, there was going to be plenty of opportunities to see them take part in the All-Star Skills Competition.
Team Foligno dominated the night's events, winning 25-19. But Giroux and Voracek had their share of moments in the night's festivities.
Giroux and Voracek each participated in the Breakaway Challenge event. Ryan Johansen of Team Foligno was named the winner, but both Giroux and Voracek got very creative on their three attempts. The Breakaway Challenge event can be seen in its entirety below.
Voracek also participated in the NHL Skills Relay Challenge, serving as one of the players taking one-timers from the sharpest angle. Voracek was 2-for-3 in helping Team Toews earn the fastest overall time in Relay 2. Highlights of the Relay Challenge in its entirety are below.
Voracek and Giroux also competed against each other in Round 3 of the NHL Shootout event. Both Giroux and Voracek were stopped in their lone attempts in the timed event, Giroux by Corey Crawford and Voracek by Carey Price.
Giroux and Voracek will oppose each other again tomorrow with Giroux playing for Team Foligno and Voracek on Team Toews. The All-Star Game is tomorrow at 5 p.m. and can be seen on NBCSN.
