Andy will coach the first Preseason game on Thursday.
Just three days after the tragedy that struck at Lehigh, and one day after the funeral of his oldest son Garret, Andy Reid was back at practice this morning.
"I'm a football coach. That's what I do. I know my son wouldn't want it any other way. He loved the Philadelphia Eagles."
The Eagles will be having a moment of silence before the teams first Preseason game on Thursday. The team will also be wearing a "GR" sticker that will be on the teams helmets.
Andy Reid held a press conference after the morning practice and went on to say:
"It's a sad situation, it's one my son has been battling for years, my family's been battling," Reid said. "It doesn't mean you stop loving your son. "Life's going to throw you curveballs and you're not going to bail. You're going to stand in there and keep swinging."
There will be likely be an overflow of emotion during tomorrows game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. We will continue to keep the entire Reid family in our prayers.
