With free agency underway and teams finding ways to clear cap and sign players, the Philadelphia 76ers took care of some housekeeping with one of their draft-and-stash prospects on Monday. Big man Anzejs Pasecniks and the Sixers agreed that he will not sign for the 2018-19 season and remain with Herbalife Gran Canaria in Spain, where's he's spent the last three seasons.
The Philadelphia 76ers and 2017 first round pick Anzejs Pasecniks have agreed that Pasecniks will not sign for the 2018-19 NBA season. They have filed the necessary paperwork with the NBA to remove Pasecniks' cap hold from the Sixers books.

In 33 games this past season in Spain, Pasecniks, 22, averaged 6.6 points and 3.6 rebounds while shooting 54.6 percent from the floor. The Sixers acquired his rights on draft night in 2017 from the Orlando Magic for future picks.
Meanwhile, stash prospect Jonah Bolden is widely expected to join the Sixers this season, but a report on Monday indicated that the organization is entertaining the idea of using him as a trade chip.
