Could former shaving foes become friends?
Interesting tweet this morning from one one of my favorite local bloggers today, John Stolnis:
Why has there been absolutely no connection between Swisher and the Phillies? Is it the draft pick?

Just several hours later from Jim Bowden:
Swisher most likely landing spots are now Phiilies, Mariners and Indians

The Phillies need two outfielders: one in center field and one in left or right, depending where they put Domonic Brown. The switch-hitting Swisher could bring a little bit of power and play an okay right field for the Phillies.
Clearly the Mariners and the Indians are lesser shots for the postseason, but they may be more desperate for offense and willing to overpay. The Phillies may not wish to pay the prices that Swisher demands or that the Mariners and Indians will pay.
The Phillies would still need to find a centerfielder.
