With the 2019 Arena Football League season set to kick off this weekend, the league announced Thursday evening a new partnership with Chalkline Sports to launch "AFL Fan Games."

Powered by Chalkline Sports' live-odds game platform — Free-to-Play (F2P) — "AFL Fan Games" allow fans of all experience levels to make weekly, daily and in-game predictions for prizes, which include VIP tickets, official game footballs, and official team helmets. Odds and lines will be set by a third party.

"We are excited to launch 'AFL Fan Games' in partnership with Chalkline Sports," said AFL Commissioner Randall Boe. "'AFL Fan Games' will give our audience the opportunity to make predictions and compete in contests to win great prizes. 'AFL Fan Games' will be fun and engaging for fans.”

The launch of "AFL Fan Games" comes just three days after the league announced its partnership with DraftKings to launch a new daily fantasy sports game.

The F2P "AFL Fan Games" include:

  • Weekly Contests: Fans pick the winners, point totals, and highest-scoring quarters for all games played each weekend.
  • Game Day Contests: Fans engage directly with the game by predicting top performers, point totals and more on game days.
  • Live-in-Play Contests: Fans make in-game picks each quarter during live AFL games. Points accumulate on a leaderboard to determine the winners after the final whistle blows.

Daniel Kustelski, CEO and co-founder at Chalkline Sports, said that given the AFL has "exciting, action-packed, high-scoring games," fans will "love playing 'AFL Fan Games.'"

"Chalkline games deliver a fun, real-time experience and reward fans who play to win,” Kustelski said. “The AFL is committed to providing the best pre-game and in-venue environment, and Chalkline looks forward to connecting fans to the teams and players that they support during every weekend of the 2019 season.”

"AFL Fan Games" is available for all AFL games this season. For more information, or to sign up, visit https://games.arenafootball.com.
