The Eagles Jekyll and Hyde season continued as they fell to 1-5 on the road this season with a 26-15 loss in Seattle. Don’t let the final score fool you. This was a poorly played game and the Eagles were massively outplayed by their counterparts. Here are this week’s grades.

The Seahawks dominated the Eagles in every facet of the game and when the Eagles appeared to have an answer to keep them competitive in the game, an inexcusable penalty turned the tide in the game. Seattle rolled from there, claiming a 26-7 win over the Eagles on Sunday at CenturyLink Field.

For the second straight game, Andrei Vasilevskiy was perfect, as the Lightning claimed a 3-0 shutout win over the Flyers at Wells Fargo Center.

Carey Price, who has been the rock driving the Montreal Canadiens hot start, allowed four goals to the Flyers on Saturday night. Somehow, it wasn’t enough. The Canadiens used a miscue by Michal Neuvirth and a shorthanded goal later in the period to get the margin necessary to win in a 5-4 Flyers loss at Bell Centre.

The Flyers have managed to salvage slow starts into a solid week with an overtime win over the Red Wings on Wednesday and a shootout win over the Islanders on Thursday. The week ends with another meeting in Montreal against the red hot Canadiens, who just suffered their first regulation loss on Friday in a 10-0 shellacking.

Eagles wide receiver Josh Huff was reportedly arrested on Tuesday morning on the Walt Whitman bridge for speeding while in possession of marijuana and a gun.

Here’s the reality. The Eagles lack of experience and lack of weapons is starting to catch up with them. Three losses — all within one score — are not the result of overall poor play. They are the result of not making the necessary plays with the game on the line, losing the little battles.
