The Flyers announced on Monday morning that they have signed second overall pick Nolan Patrick to an entry-level deal.

It was no secret that Flyers captain Claude Giroux had a rough season in 2016-17 with decreased point production. Despite playing in all 82 games last season, Giroux had just 14 goals and 58 points. Giroux attributed last season’s struggles to injury. But if you ask former Flyer and current NBC Sports analyst Jeremy Roenick about Giroux, that’s not the case.
