Respective baseball website Baseball Prospectus has been periodically releasing their prospect rankings of each organization. Today Baseball Prospectus listed their top 10 Phillies prospects. Some names are familiar to fans, while some others might be new to you.
They are:
- SS J.P. Crawford
- RHP Aaron Nola
- 1B/ 3B Maikel Franco
- LHP Yoel Mecias
- LHP Jesse Biddle
- C Deivi Grullon
- RF Kelly Dugan
- CF Carlos Tocci
- LHP Elniery Garcia
- OF Dylan Cozens
Interestingly left off the list was shortstop-turned-outfielder Roman Quinn. Quinn suffered an achillies injury two seasons ago, but made great strides in 2014. He may have just missed the list but remains high on the Phillies' radar.
