The Phillies will be without their most consistent hitter for some time. In game one of Saturday's doubleheader against the Chicago White Sox, Revere broke his ankle, according to many media outlets. This is devastating news for the Phillies, who have thrived under Revere's dominant play over the last couple of weeks.
John Mayberry started game two in center field. Revere will be re-evaluated on Monday. The Phillies have yet to announce any roster moves.
