The 2016 NBA Draft is rapidly approaching, and many expect Ben Simmons from LSU to be selected by the Sixers with the first pick in the draft.
When asked about potentially being drafted by the restructuring Sixers, Simmons expressed some excitement.
"For me, I just wanted to be the number one player selected," Simmons said while speaking on Australian radio show The Grill Team.
"It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to go first. If I go first, it's awesome."
Simmons doesn't sound like someone who is especially opposed to joining the Sixers situation. As of now, the potential top pick has no pre-draft workouts scheduled.
