Penn State Hockey heads into Big Ten Hockey Tournament

As we enter the month of March, the push for postseason begins for College Hockey. For the Penn State Nittany Lions, they would make their push to be in the talks for the NCAA Tournament.
The Nittany Lions would split their final regular season series against Number 2 Minnesota, which included an OT winner on Friday night from Simon Mack:

Following their loss to Minnesota on Saturday night, Penn State Coach Guy Gadowsky would say his team is still in this fight to make postseason play:
Guy Gadowsky is echoing how Penn State is still in the fight.
“We are still in the fight and we’re on to Michigan now.”

So where do the Nittany Lions go from here?
As they finished the regular season with a record of 18-12-4, they now will head into the Big Ten Hockey Tournament – in the Quarterfinal round, which is a best-of-3 series, Penn State will do battle with Michigan. All 3 games will take place at Yost Ice Arena, Ann Arbor, Mich.
The Schedule for the Quarterfinals:
Game 1: Friday, March 7 – 7 p.m. ET (B1G+)
Game 2: Saturday, March 8 – 7 p.m. ET (B1G+)
Game 3: Sunday, March 9 (if necessary) – 7 p.m. ET (B1G+)
The Nittany Lions are 1-3 against Michigan this season, including losing both games at Pegula Ice Arena. They split the games at Yost Ice Arena.
The NCAA Hockey Regional will be heading to the Lehigh Valley on March 28-30 at PPL Center in Allentown. The Nittany Lions are the host team for the Regional. I think it would be great to see the Nittany Lions make the regional – the last time they were there, they lost to Michigan in overtime in the finals with a spot in the Frozen Four on the line.
