Final: Braves 6, Phillies 4
PHILADELPHIA—The Phillies fell in 10 innings to the Atlanta Braves on Saturday night as Phils pitching couldn't magic itself out of yet another jam, giving up the two go-ahead runs to Atlanta and dropping a fifth straight game.
Maikel Franco had four hits, including three doubles, but the Phillies weren't able to push enough runs across to win in the first nine innings nor in the tenth.

Adonis García hit the first of his two home runs Saturday night in the first; his opposite-field blast put the Braves on top against Vince Velasquez.
César Hernández countered with his sixth home run of the year, a hard liner just over the wall in right field, in the third against John Gant.
Cameron Rupp followed later in the inning with a two-run double as the Phillies tacked on three in the frame, but a sac fly from Nick Markakis in the fourth cut the lead to just 3-2.
The Phillies, again uncharacteristically, forced Gant to throw a whopping 113 pitches in just five innings before he departed; Maikel Franco's third hit of the game, an RBI double, brought home Aaron Altherr in the fifth.
Once again, the Braves cut the Phils' lead to one with García's second solo shot in the sixth.
Velasquez pitched much deeper into the game than he has of late, getting through seven strong and allowing three runs on five hits while striking out eight.
Franco's drop of a foul pop in the eighth inning proved crucial; the batter, Chase d'Arnaud walked on the next pitch, advanced to third on Ender Inciarte's double, and scored on a weak groundout to first to tie the game against Hector Neris (the run was unearned). Neris escaped the jam without further damage.
Braves reliever José Ramírez was greeted in the eighth with Franco's third double of the game, but stranded the runner there.
Much like last night, Jeanmar Gómez entered a 4-4 tie in the ninth. Thankfully, he fared better Saturday, allowing two hits and stranding two runners in a scoreless ninth.
Two deep fly balls went foul and into Matt Kemp's glove, respectively, against Braves reliever Jed Bradley, who made his major league debut, to send the game into extra innings. Bradley was credited with the win in his first big-league appearance.
Edubray Ramos pitched the tenth for the Phillies, issuing a leadoff walk to start his inning of work. After a single and an intentional walk loaded the bases with one out, a chopper that stayed just fair inside first brought home a run (but no outs.) A groundout brought home another run, pushing Atlanta's lead to 6-4.
Mauricio Cabrera pitched a perfect tenth to record the save for Atlanta, sending the reeling Phillies to their fifth straight loss.
The Phils close out this six-game homestand with the series finale against the Braves at 1:35 on Sunday afternoon. They need a win to avoid going 0-6 at CBP over this stretch.
