Brian Dawkins, Terrell Owens Not Part of 2017 Hall of Fame Class
By Kevin Durso, Sports Talk Philly editor
The NFL is set to announce the new Hall of Fame class and annual award winners on the eve of the Super Bowl. While the official list of Hall of Famers is not yet known, reports are starting to circulate.
Both Brian Dawkins and Terrell Owens, two former Eagles that were named finalists, are not part of the Hall of Fame class, according to reports.
Owens took to Twitter to announce he was not joining the Hall just yet.
Unfortunately I DID NOT MAKE IT again this year. Thanks to ALL my fans & supporters. #FlawedProcess

Meanwhile, a report from Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk indicated Dawkins was also not in. Dawkins confirmed on Twitter minutes later.
Brian Dawkins and John Lynch were voted down by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee. Still a logjam at the safety position.
