With the deadline ticking closer for the Phillies to tender offers to Domonic Brown, Antonio Bastardo and Ben Revere, it seems they could be delaying the process for other reasons. Of course, that's just speculation, but the Phillies could very well be looking into potential trades involving any of these three players. That seems to be what is on the line of one Philly reporter.
Phillies have yet to announce arbitration decisions on Bastardo, Revere, Brown. They could be exploring trades until 11:59 pm deadline.

Perhaps the most attractive trade chip of the three, Antonio Bastardo made $2 million this season, posting a 3.94 ERA in 67 appearances. He struck out 81 over 64 innings. Brown, who most certainly took a big step back this year, made just $550,000 after hitting just .235 to go along with a less than ideal .285 OBP. Ben "singles machine" Revere ended the season tied for the National League lead in hits with 184.
