I'm not sure if this qualifies as getting on the "Eagles Bandwagon" for Sunday's NFC Championship game vs. the Vikings, but the team just earned some pretty big support from possibly America's flagship beer brand.
Anheuser-Busch, specifically Bud Light, has been gaining national exposure for their series of "Dilly-Dilly" commericals surrounding a King and his kingdom.
This week, ahead of the Eagles' biggest game since 2005, Bud Light used the commercials for a tribute to the Eagles and their underdog status heading into this week.
The King said that "he was wrong, and he's never wrong" when talking about the Eagles being successful despite all the injuries that happened to the team this season.
He also proclaims that while the injury gods have hurt the team, all the team needs is some "Lady Luck and Lord Victory to smile upon thee, and the Championship will be thine."
He ended the speech by proclaiming this for the first and final time: "Philly-Philly"
The national media may have lost faith in us, but we still have Bud Light's support.
Oh, and remember at the beginning of the season when Bud Light said they'd sponsor a party with free Bud Light for Philadelphia if the Eagles won the Super Bowl? Well, they are keeping their word.
Bud Light still planning to cover Philly's beer tab if #Eagles win Super Bowl. #FlyEaglesFly https://t.co/IrCO3IIlQD
