Eagles
Carson Wentz to Have “No Limitations” For Start of OTAs

The NFC East was not getting good news on Monday.
The Cowboys had video leak of their franchise running back Ezekiel Elliot being handcuffed at a festival following his knocking someone to the ground just hours after a story was released about how “mature” he had grown and how he has become a better person.
Meanwhile the Redskins suffered an injury to linebacker Reuben Foster, the controversial pickup that the team made after Foster was charged with domestic abuse. Foster was carted off the field and may miss the entire season, taking one of Washington’s best players away on the first day of OTA’s.
Eagles fans received news in the opposite realm when Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported that franchise quarterback Carson Wentz should have “no limitations” to start OTA’s and has progressed incredibly well.
#Eagles QB Carson Wentz is progressing well from his back injury from 2018 and sources say he has no limitations for on-field drills during OTAs, beginning tomorrow. The team will be smart with him, of course, but he’s expected to be involved in the majority of all work.

The news is the first step in the right direction and should help shake some rust off for Wentz.
The news also means that Wentz should be able to build some chemistry with DeSean Jackson, Jordan howard, Miles Sanders, JJ Arcega-Whiteside and Andre Dillard prior to the Eagles entering meaningful games.
The next steps will involve Wentz getting comfortable being mobile and evenly distributing his weight in game situations so that injuries like the stress fracture in his back last year don’t happen again. It is sure to be a critical year for the fourth-year signal caller, but things are looking up at the start of team activities.
