When the Eagles decided to re-sign quarterback Sam Bradford to a two-year deal last week, many discounted the possibility of Chiefs backup Chase Daniel following his former offensive coordinator Doug Pederson to Philadelphia. While there is little doubt that Bradford is the man for the Eagles under Pederson in year one, FoxSports NFL Insider Mike Garafolo indicates that the potential reunion is not out of the question.
Eagles' re-signing of Sam Bradford did not spell the end of QB Chase Daniel in Philly. Doug Pederson's buddy remains a possibility there.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport supported Garafolo's initial reporting.
Heard the same. Lot of Chase Daniel love in Philly https://t.co/gSeSi66wum

One would have to wonder what this potential interest would mean for the future of Mark Sanchez. The Eagles have also made it apparent that they hope to draft a quarterback at some point, giving Pederson and his offensive staff an opportunity to groom a young signal caller without him having to deal with the pressure of starting week one. By potentially bringing in two quarterbacks: Bradford and Daniel, Pederson would have a solid presence at the top of his depth chart going into year one.
Chase Daniel is an unrestricted free agent.
Update: ESPN's Dianna Marie Russini says that the Eagles are the favorite for Daniel.
3 teams heavily involved in QB Chase Daniels. Hearing Philly is the favorite but not done yet per sources
