Kashmir returned.  This time it was in Reading Municipal First Energy Stadium and not the confines of Citizens Bank Park.  Chase Utley had returned to the field.  Utley began a rehab assignment with the Reading Fightin' Phils that could lead to a return to Philadelphia sooner than later.

Utley went 0 for 4 in his debut, but yet Utley felt the night to be successful, according to Utley in comments made to MLB.com's  Steven Pianovich.

"It was nice facing someone other than a BP pitcher," said Utley, a career .287 hitter. "The guy tonight was pretty good. It was good to see a guy who had some velocity, who had a breaking ball."

Utley played just the first eight innings of the game as the Fightin' Phils went 10 innings, winning the game on a Tyson Gillies walkoff single.   Some published reports had Utley leaving the ballpark prior to the game's end, but he will be back in Reading for another game tonight

Utley's rehab assignment could be short.  Utley could re-join the big league club by the time the team faces the New York Mets this weekend.
