Chase Utley Returns as Cliff Lee Looks to be the Stopper

Today, the Phillies will look to savage a three game set against the red hot Brewers and avoid the sweep. Going into today, the Brewers have won their last five games including a sweep of the defending champions, Boston Red Sox. The Phillies in this series have struggled defensively and it cost them in both games. Between both games, the Phillies have five errors and six unearned runs.

Looking for a stopper, the Phillies will hand the ball to ace Cliff Lee. In Lee’s last start, he rebounded nicely after getting shelled in the season opener going seven scoreless innings getting the win. Though inflated from the season opener, Lee is going into the game with a 6.00 ERA, but has two wins. He will be opposed by right-hander, Marco Estrada. Estrada has pitched superb in first start of the short season. Estradra went 5.2 innings giving up one run on four hits, striking out six.
