The internets are alive with the news that second baseman Chase Utley is in Philadelphia, and expected to rejoin the team for Monday's game against the Reds. The days of watching the likes of Wilson Valdez, Pete Orr, and Michael Martinez play regularly (and bat in irrationally high spots in the batting order) are almost over. Even if he is at reduced capacity, Utley is a ginormous upgrade, both offensively and defensively. Later, we'll discuss some of the possible roster moves that could be made to free up an active roster spot for Utley. For now, let's just enjoy the fact that Utley is finally back.
