PHILADELPHIA — Fans of the Philadelphia Phillies will soon be able to "eat mor chikin," cool off with a variety of flavors from the Philadelphia-based Rita's Water Ice, as well as venture to the unknown with a Korean fried pork belly sandwich—a few of the many new concession additions coming to Citizens Bank Park this season, according to Michael Klein of Philly.com.
In keeping with corporate policy, Chick-fil-A will not be open for each of the Phillies' 13 home Sunday games.
The Travel Channel's Andrew Zimmern, host of "Bizarre Foods," brings the new Korean fried pork belly sandwich to Harry the K's. The sandwich will come on a toasted bun, topped with grilled pineapple, gochujang sauce and chili lime salt. The popular restaurant located in left field will also see a new turkey burger—with sharp cheddar and shallot marmalade—and a smoked brisket sandwich—with whiskey barbecue sauce and creamy cider slaw.
Zimmern is currently working in conjunction with Aramark to bring new food options to five other ballparks around the country, according to Klein.

Other new food options also coming to the Phillies' home since the 2004 season include a boneless chicken sandwich to Federal Donuts and a "cheeesy" burger topped with pork roll and a mini corn dog to Wayback Burgers.
Also, according to Klein, Aramark will introduce three new hot dog options:
-
a beer-braised dog with hard cider, braised onions and grain mustard on a pretzel roll;
-
an Asian dog topped with sweet and sour pickled slaw and Sriracha mayo on a poppy seed roll;
-
a Sonoran dog, which has bacon wrapped around the dog, topped with smoked tomatillo salsa verde, Tabasco mayo, chopped tomato, and onions.
The Phillies' home opener, in which right-hander Aaron Nola will take the mound, will take place two weeks from today, Monday, April 11, against the San Diego Padres at 3:05 p.m.
