Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly addressed the media on Friday in advance Monday night's divisional showdown against the New York Giants.
Starting Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. missed the last two days of practice as he recovers from a hamstring injury he suffered last week against the San Francisco 49ers.
Despite that fact, Kelly is fairly certain that Beckham Jr. will play under the lights on Monday Night Football.
Chip Kelly: Our approach is Odell Beckham is playing. We'll see 13 on Monday night. He's a very competitive player. He's playing

Beckham Jr. only caught two passes during the Eagles 27-0 blowout victory over the Giants last season at Lincoln Financial Field, but he was dealing with an injury. In his second game against the Eagles in Week 17, he caught 12 passes on 21 targets for 185 yards and a touchdown.
He has 31 receptions for 428 yards with three touchdown catches through five games this season.
Kelly also praised the play of Giants quarterback Eli Manning, who is off to one of the best starts of his career.
Manning has completed 66.5 percent of his throws for 1,417 yards with 10 touchdowns and only two interceptions, resulting in a quarterback rating of 100.2.
"I think with Eli it's his second year in Ben McAdoo's system and you can see that there's a comfort level in Eli in the whole system," Kelly said prior to practice at the NovaCare Complex. "Even though he's only thrown two interceptions, he's only been sacked four times. He's getting the ball out of his hands quickly. He can recognize how people are defending him. If the coverage is rolled one way, he doesn't stay on a receiver and say 'hey, I've gotta throw to this guy so I'm going to wait for him to get open,' he's really going rapidly through his progressions."
Manning was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in a 30-27 win against the 49ers, completing 41 passes for 441 yards and three touchdown passes, one of which was a game-winner to Larry Donnell with only 21 seconds remaining in the game.
Manning has more interceptions (4) than touchdown passes (3) in his career against Bill Davis as Eagles defensive coordinator.
The Eagles will try to keep that ratio the same as they look to get to the .500 mark for the first time since the start of the season.
