Kelly was one of a number of possible candidates for the Eagles. Mike McCoy and Bruce Arians remain strong candidates, with Jon Gruden being mentioned now and then in passing. The Eagles were also said to be interested in Doug Marrone, who interviewed with the Buffalo Bills and the Cleveland Browns. Marrone reportedly will become the Bills' head coach.
