Flyers captain Claude Giroux led the way as the Flyers closed out the season with a big 5-0 win over the Rangers and locked up a spot in the playoffs.
For that, Giroux was honored as the third star of the week by the NHL.
Giroux scored five goals and added two assists for seven points in three games this week.
In addition to the five goals and seven points in the last three games of the season, Giroux also scored twice in last Sunday's game against Boston on April 1, giving him seven goals and nine points in four regular-season games in April.
Giroux finished the regular season with 34 goals and 102 points, both career highs. The 102 points ranked second in the NHL behind only Connor McDavid, who finished with 108 points.
Florida goalie Roberto Luongo was named the second star of the week and Dallas captain Jamie Benn was named the first star of the week.
The Flyers are set to open the playoffs on Wednesday night against the Pittsburgh Penguins at 7 p.m.
