It’s all about stick-handling in the final episode of the NHL’s After Dark GoPro series, featuring Flyers captain Claude Giroux.
Among the best stick-handling players in the league, Giroux worked within the faceoff circle to fend off a defender. The unique GoPro angles give you an inside look at what goes on when Giroux is constantly moving his feet and trying to gain positioning.
The moves get better as the drills go into a 1-on-2 rush where Giroux’s GoPro camera gives you a look at what he sees when he makes cutting moves around a defenseman. Similarly, a second GoPro camera on the defenseman shows what it’s like to be pulled out of your skates by Giroux’s dazzling moves.
This is the second of a two-part episode featuring Giroux. In the first video, there was more stick-handling display as Giroux maneuvered the puck through oncoming pucks, Frogger style.
