According to Tom Moore on Twitter, Sixers GM Bryan Colangelo has been contemplating the possibility of trading the 3rd overall pick in the NBA Draft.
Colangelo: 'We've had a lot of questions asked about No. 3. We're asking a lot of things around No. 3.'

It sounds like Colangelo is testing the market for the 3rd overall pick, hinting to the possibility of moving that pick. Colangelo is collecting information from teams and computing possible scenarios when the pick arrives.
If Lonzo Ball falls to the Sixers pick, Colangelo may be prepared to trade down, going after Kentucky shooting guard Malik Monk. Moore's tweet suggests that Colangelo, if necessary, will trade away from an unfavorable scenario.
Personally, I am not against trading down from the 3rd pick. Colangelo has mentioned in interviews that drafting players is finding the proper balance between talent and fit. Thats what it's all about. If the Sixers cannot find a balance between both of those aspects with the 3rd pick, trading the pick becomes a likely and favorable approach.
The Los Angeles Lakers will have the greatest impact on the scenario the Sixers will face. Ball plans to workout with the Lakers on June 7th, and must go perfectly for the Lakers to consider Ball with the 2nd overall pick. The Boston Celtics are projected to select Markelle Fultz with the 1st pick.
Colangelo could be faced with a massive decision with the 3rd pick. It is comforting, as a Sixers fan, to know that Colangelo is not ruling out any options.
