In a rather unsurprising move, the Eagles have brought back cornerback Craig James.

James was originally signed to the practice squad, but was added to the 53-man roster last week, taking Alex Ellis’ spot.
It’s no surprise the team would bring him back with Ellis being promoted to the 53-man roster in the wake of the slew of injuries to the receiving targets on the Eagles 53-man roster.
James appeared in three games for the Vikings last season.
Tight end Alex Ellis and James essentially swapped spots on the 53-man roster and practice squad.
