The 2008 Philadelphia Phillies were honored in a special way on Sunday afternoon ahead of this year's Phillies matchup with the Miami Marlins.
On the final day of Alumni Weekend, 10 years removed from the club's second World Series title, the Phillies were recognized for that World Series Championship, and the starting lineup was introduced by Phillies PA Announcer Dan Baker.
It's safe to say, it was a pretty special moment for all. Every member of the Phillies starting lineup was in attendance besides Chase Utley, who is with the Dodgers currently. Cole Hamels (Cubs) and Matt Stairs (Padres coach) also weren't in attendance for the special day.
NBC Sports Philadelphia captured the moment perfectly on Sunday.
