A lot of the summer headlines revolving around the Sixers have been about Ben Simmons, whether it be working on his jump-shot or seeing his dating life on TMZ, and Markelle Fultz working with Drew Hanlen to rebuild his shot. In addition, Joel Embiid participated in NBA’s Africa Game and looked as sharp as can be in his first healthy offseason.
Things have been pretty quiet on the Dario Saric front, though. The Sixers forward joined his native Croatia in the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers, but beyond that, there hasn’t been a whole lot of news about Dario during the offseason. One reason we may not have heard a whole lot from The Homie recently is that a documentary on him and his family was produced and is set to premiere in late September at the Vukovar Film Festival in Croatia.
The documentary, titled Always The Same, dives into Saric’s life and the relationship he has with his family. His father played basketball professionally and the two had a tense relationship for a period of time as the father and son disagreed on whether or not Dario was ready to go to the NBA.
