In place of the recently DL'd Cliff Lee, Todd Zolecki reports that Saturday's starting pitcher will be David Buchanan, who will be making his major league debut. Buchanan turned heads in Spring Training and was among the final cuts. Since then he has been pitching in Triple-A Lehigh Valley. In nine starts (40.2 innings), Buchanan has gone 5-1 with a 3.98 ERA, 4.16 FIP, 31 Ks, 17 BBs, and a 1.57 WHIP. A roster move will be announced prior to Saturday afternoon's game.
