In what has been a competitive series for the Phillies despite last night's loss, David Buchanan looks to steal one from Zack Greinke and the Dodgers in this afternoon's rubber match.

This series has been good for the Phillies as they continue their second half of playing good baseball. Despite not being the prettiest box score, they played and pitched their way out of worse trouble and they battled back.
Today proves no easy task as they face Zack Greinke who has been one of the best pitchers in baseball this season, even out pitching fellow ace Clayton Kershaw. Greinke had a remarkable 45.2 inning scoreless streak going for a while and hasn't slowed down after it's end. He's coming off a great start against his former club across town in Anaheim where he pitched eight innings of two run ball, striking out eight.
David Buchanan's rough April still haunts his ERA for the season at 6.44 but since returning in July, he's pitched pretty well. He pitched into the eighth inning in his last start against Atlanta allowing three runs in the 9-3 route.
Fairly standard second half line up this afternoon with Cody Asche and Domonic Brown in the corner outfield spots against the right handed Greinke.
