David Herndon May Have Tommy John Surgery
According to Todd Zolecki, Phillies' right hander David Herndon could be headed towards Tommy John Surgery. Herndon, who is 0-1 with a 4.70 ERA in five games this season, could be out for a full year or even more.Herndon is signed through 2012 so if he does indeed go through Tommy John Surgery, Herndon could be back by the end of next season.
In other news, Michael Stutes will most likely undergo explortatory surgery on his right shoulder. Stutes has had problems with his shoulder all year and has no exact diagnosis. Also from the news feed, Laynce Nix has suffered a set back today. He strained his left calf.
Oh yeah, incase you haven't heard. Freddy Galvis has been suspended for 50 games for testing positive for a PED.
