One day after Chip Kelly went to battle for DeMarco Murray regarding a so-called meeting with Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie, the man him addressed the situation.
Murray met with the media on Thursday and cleared up much of a murky picture clouding a week of preparation for the Eagles crucial Week 14 game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
Among the topics was the thought that Murray may regret signing in Philadelphia after his usage has been varied between Ryan Mathews, Darren Sproles and even Kenjon Barner.
"Not at all," Murray said. "I'm committed to Chip and Jeff and the guys in this locker room."
It has been a trying season for Murray, who has 569 yards on 163 carries and four touchdowns. In Sunday's win over the Patriots, Murray had just eight carries for 24 yards and did not take the field during the team's final drive.
Murray acknowledged that he did in fact speak with Lurie regarding his frustration over usage, but it was in no way a formal meeting. Murray would not go into specifics of the conversation, but did retort "I sat next to him on the airplane, I'm not allowed to talk to my boss?"
There has been increased speculation that the Eagles would consider cutting or trading Murray after the season due to his frustrations. Murray said that was not the case at all.
"100 percent, yes," Murray said when asked if he wanted to be an Eagle next season. "I love playing for this team, I love the fans, and when I signed on the dotted line, I knew I was going to be here for a long time. I'm committed to winning a lot of games here."
Murray and the Eagles now shift their focus to Sunday's game against Buffalo. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. from Lincoln Financial Field.
