One day after firing a warning shot towards Revis Island, DeSean Jackson picked up some NFL hardware, Wednesday.
Jackson was named the NFC Offensive Player of The Week for his performance Sunday. He was the Eagles offensive catalyst against the New York Giants in Sunday's 36-21 win at MetLife Stadium hauling in seven receptions for 132 yards and a touchdown.
The win sent the sinking Giants to 0-5 and launched the Eagles to first place in the NFC East despite their 2-3 record.
This is the fifth time in his career that Jackson has earned conference player of the week honors.
Five weeks into the NFL season Jackson is on pace to collect 1,600 receiving yards. The Eagles travel to Tampa Bay to take on the Buccaneers Sunday ahead of a showdown with the Dallas Cowboys next Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.
