Former Phillies Manager Charlie Manuel handled his firing with class at a press conference just a day ago. And despite the pain that likely has come with losing his job, Charlie Manuel is going to show some more class, just a day later. Today, Charlie Manuel will keep his autograph signing at the Granite Run Mall.
The event scheduled for today, a signing by both former Phillies coach Davey Lopes and Manuel organized by Poppel.com, will go on as planned. The website indiated yesterday that YES, Manuel is still going to appear:
So, you have an opportunity to see Charlie, if you head out now. I am sure he will be greeted with many kind words and good luck. No one would have blamed Charlie if he went home to Buena Vista, Virgina last night. But, he made a commitment and he stuck around.
