In the next couple weeks, the Phillies may need an outfielder from AAA to fill out their major league roster. Domonic Brown is now an option as he has been reinstated from the disabled list and is available for the Iron Pigs tonight.
Brown is in left field, but not center field. As the Phillies look more and more like they are going to trade centerfielder Shane Victorino and possibly left fielder Juan Pierre, Brown appears to be factoring into their plans more and more. Brown was hitting .300 in June before he went down with an injury.
